PORT ELIZABETH - 60 YEAR OLD WOMAN JUMPS OFF PIER IN POSSIBLE SUICIDE ATTEMPT

A 60-year-old woman who jumped off Hobie Beach pier during the early hours of this morning was rescued by passing cyclists.

The woman, who is visiting Port Elizabeth, is believed to have attempted to commit suicide. Metro EMS have taken her to hospital for treatment.
