PORT ELIZABETH - SAPS SET TO INCREASE VISIBILITY AT MALLS ACROSS PE OVER FESTIVE SEASON

The Police tactical response team and Airwing will be visiting Shopping centres across Port Elizabeth today as part of a tactical deployment plan to increase heavily armed police at various malls.

The officials will be landing by helicopter at Motherwell shopping centre, Kenako Mall, Cleary Park shopping centre and Baywest mall at various times today.
The operation aims at increasing police visibility at shopping centres as foot traffic at the various malls is expected to drastically increase.
