UITENHAGE - SUSPECTS ROB HOUSE DRESSED AS COPS

Uitenhage police were on a manhunt for four suspects who allegedly posed as police officials and robbed a house in Kwanobuhle, Eastern Cape police said on Monday.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Majola Nkohli said four men ransacked a house in Nomaswane street on Sunday evening.

Nkholi said two of the men were armed and pointed firearms at the home owner and his girlfriend who were then tied up with tape.

“The suspects made off with a white Toyota Quantum with the registration number HMY 084 EC, an amplifier and two cellphones,” said Nkholi.

Police were investigating a case of house robbery.

No arrests have been made.
