The Gang Task Team has arrested two suspects in Gelvandale, Port Elizabeth, on charges of attempted murder.Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, says a 22-year-old man arrested on Thursday night will face two charges of attempted murder.
This relates to a shooting incident earlier this month.
Naidu says the 40-year-old second suspect faces one charge of attempted murder.
A 9mm Glock pistol and ammunition was also confiscated during the arrests.
Naidu says both men will appear in court on Monday.
Police are appealing to the communities in the Northern areas to come forward and assist them in arresting wanted suspects involved in gang related crimes.
