GRAHAMSTOWN - SAPS NEED YOUR HELP AFTER POST OFFICE ARMED ROBBERY

Grahamstown police are appealing to the public to come forward with information that may assist them in the arrest of those responsible for an armed robbery at the Grahamstown Post Office.

Captain Mali Govender says several armed men held staff and customers at gunpoint at the Grahamstown Post office in High street shortly before 4pm on Thursday.

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.

No shots were fired and no one was injured in what appears to have been a well planned robbery.

At this stage,  there is no clear description of the suspects or the getaway vehicles involved.
