Please take note of the following sates regarding the closure of certain municipal facilities in and around the greater Port Elizabeth area for the festive season:At its meeting on 1 December 2016, the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipal Council resolved that the Christmas and New Year shutdown is between 28 December 2016 and 6 January 2017 except for essential services and the Budget and Treasury Customer Care Centres.
The following services will therefore be affected as follows:
Driving License Testing Centres
The Driving License Testing Centre at Korsten and Uitenhage will close at 10h30 on Friday 23 December 2016 and re-open on Wednesday 4 January 2017.
Libraries
All libraries will be closed from Thursday, 22 December until Friday, 6 January and re-open on Monday, 9 January 2017.

Customer Care Centres
Customer Care Centres will be closed on public holidays such as Christmas and New Years Day.
