Police in Algoa Park in Port Elizabeth are urgently seeking the community's assistance in tracing a mother and daughter who is allegedly missing from their home since Thursday, 9 February 2017.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naiu, says according to the woman's husband, he last saw his wife, Bonita Swana (43) and their six-year-old daughter, Chantane Swana, at 08:00 on Thursday morning at their home at Suikerbossie Flats in Algoa Park.
She said the husband, Vincent, is a taxi driver. All attempts to locate his wife proved futile.
Naidu said a substantial amount of money is also reportedly missing from the house.
The couple also have two other children who are with their father at home.
Colnel Naidu says anyone who may know the whereabouts of Bonita Swana and her daughter is asked to contact W/O Andre Tome at SAPS Algoa Park on 041 4091021 or 084 209 5414.
