PORT ELIZABETH - NMB MAYOR BOBANI FEEDS POOR AND NEEDY IN SWARTKOPS

Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipal Mayor, Mongameli Bobani visited the Swartkops train station where the Transnet Health train was on Thursday evening. Escorted by two other city council officials, they approached the train where nearly two hundred poor and destitute people from the surrounding area had gathered for this charitable moment.
Mayor Bobani addressed the crowd, thanking them for joining him and for their support. The crowd cheered in anticipation as he handed out food in the form of bunny chows to each one. Taking his time to speak to each individual as he, personally handed out meal with a few volunteers.

Many of the crowd were elderly or unemployed community members and they gladly accepted the precious meal given to them by Bobani.

They cheered the mayor on with smiles adourning their faces. Once everybody had a meal and was satisfied, Bobani once again thanked them and promised he would continue to look after the needs of the poor in the Nelson Mandela Bay area.
