The Eastern Cape Health Department said that a 16-year-old youth was arrested for an attack on a nurse at the Motherwell Clinic in Port Elizabeth.Health Department spokesperson, Sizwe Kupelo, said that teen was taken to a juvenile centre.

He said the incident occurred at around midnight on Saturday when the youth attacked a nurse and two security guards while receiving stitches for his stab wounds.
“It is worth noting that the attack did not happen because of a lax security or a breach in security,” he said.
He said the youth is due to appear in court on Monday.
