EASTERN CAPE - 29 YEAR OLD ARRESTED FOR RAPING 6 YOUNG GIRLS, AGED BETWEEN 6 & 11, ON THEIR WAY TO SCHOOL

 

Eastern Cape police have arrested a 29-year-old man they say allegedly raped six young girls on one day.

Police spokesperson, Captain Namhla Mdleleni, said that the alleged rapes occurred on 15 October in the Maqhashu Administrative Area near Lady Frere.

She said the children, aged between six and 11, were on their way to school when they were confronted by the suspect who threatened to kill them before allegedly raping the girls.

Captain Mdleleni said four days after the incident one of the child’s parents “noticed suspicious symptoms from her child” and called the police.

She said the suspect, who was arrested on Sunday, will appear before Lady Frere Magistrate Court soon.
