PORT ELIZABETH - ONE OF PE'S MOST WANTED GANG MEMBERS ARRESTED IN KLEINSKOOL

A 22-year-old gang affiliate was arrested on Saturday, 5 October 2019 by members of the Anti-Gang Unit while they were patrolling in Ferreira’s Grounds in Kleinskool when they spotted the suspect.

It is alleged that the members recognised the suspect on their wanted list and when they stopped, the suspect tried to give a false name. He was arrested for attempted murder which took place on 2 March 2019.

It is alleged that at about 05:30 on the mentioned date, three (3) friends 22, 26 and 31 were inside the house sitting in the lounge when suddenly multiple gunshots were fired from outside into the house. One person, 22-years-old sustained a gunshot wound to the chest while the others did not sustain any injuries.

The suspect will appear in the Port Elizabeth magistrate’s court on Monday, 7 October 2019.
