Eleven men with ages between 18 and 30 years and a 17-year-old boy were arrested for stabbing and killing two men with their ages 37 and 41 years at Kambi locality in Mthatha on 05 November at about 15:00.
The suspects were arrested after the deceased went missing and were last seen going out of a local tavern on the evening of the 25 October 2019 allegedly with one of the arrested suspects. Mthatha Detectives formed a task team that managed to make a breakthrough.
The decomposed bodies of the deceased were found buried in shallow graves at the dongas pointed out by the suspects. Motive for their killing is yet to be established and the suspects will be caused to appear before Mthatha Magistrate Court tomorrow facing charges of double murder.
