EASTERN CAPE - ALIWAL NORTH DETECTIVES BRING HOUSEBREAKING SUSPECT TO JUSTICE

On Tuesday, 12 November 2019, an operation was successfully conducted by members of South African Police Service inclusive of Crime Intelligence (CI), Aliwal North detectives, Maletswai K9 Unit and members of Cluster task team which operated from 10 :00 until 16:00, and focused on reported cases.

One suspect was arrested upon following intelligence information, which led to the recovery of two plasma television sets with estimated value of R18000-00, which one of the television set is suspected to be linked to the existing case of housebreaking with intent to steal and theft.

The other suspects are arrested for assault with the intention to commit grievous bodily harm.

All three suspects will appear soon at the Aliwal North District Court.

The Aliwal North Acting Cluster Commander, Colonel Mpho Rabele, commended the interdisciplinary approach by the various units within the Cluster who worked together in achieving results.
