PORT ELIZABETH - MANHUNT LAUNCHED FOR TWO KILLERS AFTER UNKNOWN MAN IS MURDERED IN CENTRAL

Police in Port Elizabeth are looking for two suspects who shot and killed an unknown man in Central on Monday.

Spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says Humewood police responded to a complaint of a shooting in Mackay street and found a man with multiple gunshot wounds.

She says the victim died on the scene.

His identity, as well as the motive for the killing, is unknown at this stage.

It is alleged that two suspects were seen running away from the scene who then jumped into a vehicle and fled in the direction of Russel Road.

Police asked anyone who can assist in identifying the deceased to contanct SAPS, although no information about his appearence, suspected age or clothing was supplied.
