EASTERN CAPE - 3 POLICE STATIONS SHUTDOWN TODAY DUE TO COVID-19 INFECTIONS

Today 3 Eastern Cape police stations have been shut down due to Covid-19 infections, yesterday was King Williams Town and earlier today Kinkelbos police station and now the Willowvale & Bhisho police stations

Bhisho

Community members being serviced by Bhisho police station are advised that the police station is currently closed due to one of its members having tested positive for the Covid-19 Corona Virus.

The Community Service Centre will now be operating from the Old Police Station Building which is situated below Engen Garage at Bhisho. People are advised to call 10111 for all emergencies and complaints as there are shifts members on duty and others on standby to assist. The telephone lines at Bhisho police station Community Service Centre will no longer be accessible.

The building will be undergoing decontamination and the community will be informed when the Bhisho SAPS will be operational again. Bhisho SAPS management apologises for any inconvenience that may arise from this.

Willowvale

Community members served by Willowvale police station are advised that this police station is currently closed due to one of its members having tested positive for the COVID-19 corona virus. The community service center will be operating from Willowvale Town Hall which is at Willowvale Main Street.

Community members are advised to contact the following cell phone numbers 076 7901 932 and 082 566 0986 for all emergencies and complaints. The telephone lines at Willowvale Police Station Community Service Center will no longer be accessible. 

The building is currently undergoing decontamination and the community will be informed when Willowvale Police Station will be operational again. The SAPS management apologises for any inconvenience that may arise from this.
