NELSON MANDELA BAY - BODIES OF 2 FRIENDS, WITH GUNSHOT WOUNDS, FOUND LYING IN OPEN FIELD BETWEEN TIMOTHY VALLEY AND PALMRIDGE
Police in Port Elizabeth are investigating a double murder after the bodies of two men were found lying in an open field between Timothy Valley and Palmridge.
Spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, says the body of 34-year-old Ruve Bambie and his 22-year-old friend, Flagan Stevens was found on the field before 9 am on Friday.
She says their bodies were about a metre apart when they were found and both had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to their heads and body.
The men are believed to have left Bambie’s house to visit a friend in Timothy Valley before 11 pm on Thursday.
Naidu says the suspects are unknown at this stage and the circumstances surrounding the shooting is also unknown.
