Police are investigating a case of bomb threat after a bank manager at FNB received a threat.
According to police information, it is alleged that at about 15:00, the manager received a letter indicating that there were explosive devices in the bank.
Immediately all staff and customers were evacuated and police were alerted.
A thorough search was conducted by K9 and the Bomb Disposal Units. No devices were found.
A case was opened for further investigation.
