The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality on Saturday evening informed residents and businesses in the above affected areas that a temporary electricity supply has been made.
It is important to note that the supply that will be provided, will not be able to carry the load of the area as per usual.
Residents of these affected areas are humbly requested to switch off their geysers, pool pumps and all appliances that are heavy on electricity.
This temporary measure has been done to mitigate the impact of the main outage as engineers are still busy working on site.
It is comforting to also share that the parts that were procured will arrive this evening.
The engineers will work 24/7 until normal power is restored.
