NELSON MANDELA BAY - NELSON MANDELA UNIVERSITY WARNS STUDENTS OF FRAUDULENT GRADUATION LETTER

In a Statement released on Monday night, 21 February 2022 the Nelson Mandela University issued the following warning:

Beware of fraudulent Graduation Letter

Nelson Mandela University has been made aware of a fraudulent letter on the University letterhead circulating via social media advising students who will be graduating of an opportunity to purchase their graduation attire.

This letter (see adjacent) is not from Nelson Mandela University. 

The Legal Services Department is investigating the origins of the letter. 

Students must not pay into this account.

The University contacts graduating students directly with all relevant information, including information about graduation attire.
