The Department of Transport is encouraging people to collect their driving licences and those who need to apply to do so before 9 o'clock tonight, 31 March 2022
In Aug 2021, the Transport Minister, Fikile Mbalula announced the extension of learners licences, driving licence cards, temporary driving licences & professional driving permits for a grace period ending on 31 March 2022 as part of government measures in response to lockdown.
