SAPS Bethelsdorp detectives are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing the next of kin of a person whose body was found in bushes in Booysens Park on 27 April 2022.
It is alleged that on the mentioned date at about 18:15, children were riding their bicycles through a bushy area near Greenfields in Booysens Park when they stumbled on the burned remains of a person.
Police suspect that the body may have been transported in a wheelie bin and burned.
The race or sex of the person is unknown as the person was burned beyond recognition.
A case of murder is under investigation.
