Convicted murderer Oscar Pistorius’ parole hearing, which will decide whether he can be released after serving half of his 15-year sentence, will take place on 31 March.
After a convoluted series of legal battles, Pistorius was found guilty of murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, who he said he had shot through a toilet door in the belief that she was an intruder.
Tania Koen, who is representing Steenkamp's parents, and the Department of Correctional Services both declined to comment on the upcoming parole hearing.
