Police have arrested a 27 year old suspect for alleged murder of his 59 year old mother who had been admitted in a chronic hospital in East London. It is alleged that on Sunday, 13 March 2016 at about 12:00, the son visited his mother in her hospital ward. The nurses are alleged to have discovered the lifeless body of the woman lying on her bed with stab wounds to the throat and stomach during feeding time.The suspect was found hidden inside the hospital toilet with a knife in his possession.
He will appear before the East London Magistrate’s Court soon facing a charge of murder.
