Two white rhinos have been killed after they were darted and de-horned by poachers at the Sibuya Game Reserve near Kenton-on-Sea south of Grahamstown.
A third rhino is now fighting for his life. The two slaughtered females were found by anti-poaching teams yesterday.
All three animals had their horns sawn off.
Sibuya game reserve owner Nick Fox said, “They called for reinforcements this morning, we found two dead calves and a bull and they all had their horns removed.”
