Two women accused of performing illegal abortions are due in court in Port Elizabeth on Wednesday.They face 25 counts of concealment of birth after performing illegal abortions and disposing of foetuses.
Authorities said Lulama Cabela and her receptionist Babalwa Cabela also failed to adhere to bail conditions.
The pair were arrested last month following ongoing investigations into illegal abortions in the Nelson Mandela Bay area.
Police confiscated medicine, documents and equipment used in the illegal business.
