The price of bread is set to go up by at least ten percent.This is as a result of the 34 percent increase in import duty on wheat announced by the Treasury last Friday.
The projected increase excludes the effect of electricity and fuel price hikes that will also affect the cost of bread.
Consumers have been feeling the effect of the struggling economy, with fuel and electricity price hikes in recent weeks.
