GRAHAMSTOWN - MAN ARRESTED WITH R110 000 WORTH OF DAGGA EN ROUTE TO PORT ELIZABETH


On Thursday, 30 June 2016 approximately 17:00, members of the Grahamstown Highway patrol were conducting a vehicle check point on the N2 opposite the Settlers Monument. They stopped a bus that was travelling towards Port Elizabeth. On searching the bus, they found two large brown suitcases containing dagga with a street value of nearly R110 000-00.

A 37-year-old suspect has been arrested. He faces a charge of dealing in dagga. He is due to appear in the Grahamstown Magistrates court shortly.
