Queenstown Police arrested two males aged between 55 and 63 years on Friday afternoon for possession of stolen property.
The vehicle was spotted by the complainant who was coming from a police station to open a case of robbery where an undisclosed amount of cash was robbed from her. She immediately stopped the Police and identified the suspects. Police immediately stopped the vehicle and searched it and found suspected stolen clothing to the value of R15 000.00. No money was recovered from them and the other suspect fled the scene.
It is believed that there is a syndicate of shoplifters as the items are from different shops. Police confiscated the vehicle and the goods.
