VIDEO - INTERNATIONAL - INTERPOL CANCELS MEETING WITH PORT ELIZABETH MAN ACCUSED ABDUCTING HIS DAUGHTER

Karate World Champion Michael Kliment, who is accused of abducting his 8 year-old daughter, Mija, from her school in Banská Bystrica in central Slovakia, was expected to meet with Interpol earlier on Friday. The meeting was cancelled. The two have been on the run for more than a week. Both Michael and Mija are South African citizens. Mija was placed under the temporary custody of her grandmother in Slovakia, despite the fact that her father was granted full custody by the Hague Convention in 2013. Her parents were embroiled in a bitter custody battle for more than 3 years.
