Eastern Cape police are trying to identify a child whose mutilated body was found near Willowvale.Residents of a village made the gruesome discovery while walking past a field on Thursday.
The toddler is believed to be three years old.
The police's Jackson Manatha has appealed for help. “The child’s legs and arms were amputated. We appeal to anyone who can assist with identifying the body to please speak to Crime Stop at 08600 10111.”
He says a murder case has been opened and no arrests have been made.
