Port Elizabeth police are investigating two cases of murder after two bodies were found in different parts of Motherwell on Monday morning.
Captain Andre Beetge, says the body of a 50-year-old woman was found by a community member lying beneath electricity power lines.
The woman's body was partially covered in clothing and she had been stabbed several times.
The woman's identity will be revealed once her next of kin has been informed.
Beetge says in the second incident, a body that had been burnt beyond recognition was found by a member of the public in Unit 8 at about 9' o clock the same morning.
Motherwell police are asking that anyone with information on the two cases make contact with their nearest police station.
