EASTERN CAPE - HUMANSDORP POLICE APPEAL FOR HELP AFTER ZWARTENBOSCH GOLF COURSE MANAGER SHOT IN THE HEAD

Detectives from Humansdorp SAPS are appealing to members of the community to assist with information that could lead to the successful arrest of a suspect that was involved in a shooting incident at the Zwartenbosch Golf Course, outside Humansdorp.

It is alleged that the manager (42) and his colleague locked up the premises on Saturday, 25 February 2017, at about 18:15, and got into the manager's bakkie.

An armed suspect, who was wearing a balaclava at the time, appeared out of nowhere and indicated to the passenger to lie down.

The armed suspect then fired a shot at the manager, injuring the manager at the back of his head. The suspect fled on foot from the scene and the manager was taken to the local hospital for treatment.

Fortunately he only sustained a flesh wound to the head and was released the same evening.
