EASTERN CAPE - KING WILLIAMS TOWN POLICE MAKE OVER 50 ARRESTS DURING WEEKEND OPERATIONS

Police in the Cluster arrested more than fifty suspects for Rape, Assault, Housebreaking and Theft, Drunken driving, Murder, Contravention of protection order, unlawful possession of ammunition, possession of dagga and Theft out of motor vehicle. Police were conducting weekend operations when they arrested these suspects.

These suspects are aged between 21 and 52 years will appear at various Magistrate's Courts today and tomorrow.

King William’s Town Cluster Commander Brigadier Luntu Ngubelanga thanked the members for job well done and for being vigilant when patrolling their policing precinct. He also encouraged them to keep on patrolling the area to prevent and combat crime. We will keep on doing stop and search and roadblocks to prevent crime in our area, he also encouraged the community members to report any criminal activities to 08600 10111.
