PORT ELIZABETH - 2 LIVES CLAIMED IN FATAL ACCIDENT BETWEEN MOTHERWELL & UITENHAGE

Two people were killed in an accident on the R334 between Motherwell in Port Elizabeth and Uitenhage.

Provincial traffic spokesperson, Charles Bramwell, said the crash happened on Sunday afternoon.

He said the driver of a Toyota Avanza lost control of his vehicle which then overturned.

Bramwell said two people in the vehicle died in the accident.

He said the cause of the single-vehicle accident is not yet known.

Police have opened culpable homicide dockets.
