A suspected gang leader was shot dead in Port Elizabeth yesterday. Police spokesperson Priscilla Naidu says the 32 year old Gavilon Roman was shot in the head by an unknown assailant.Roman, who allegedly belongs to the Gavy Boys gang, was standing outside a pharmacy in Durban Road in Korsten when two men approached him moments before he was gunned down. He died on the scene.
Naidu says both suspects ran away. A case of murder is under investigation.
