The Motherwell Cluster Operational Command Centre (OCC) members arrested a 30-year-old male for the possession of a stolen vehicle on Thursday, 25 July 2019 at 14:00 in Cintsa Street, NU5, Motherwell.
The arrest followed after the OCC members spotted a suspicious blue VW Jetta parked in the yard of a house in Cintsa Street. After checking the vehicle, the members established that it was stolen in Walmer earlier this month. Upon following up information supplied by the home owner, the 30-year-old suspect was subsequently arrested.
He will be appearing before the Motherwell Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 26 July 2019 on a charge of possession of a stolen vehicle.
