UITENHAGE - POLICE BAFFLED AFTER MAN SHOT IN THE CHEST & KILLED BY UNKNOWN SUSPECT IN ROSEDALE STREET
Uitenhage police are investigating ashooting incident in which a man was fatally wounded.
Police spokesperson, Captain Gerda Swart, said 27-year-old Logan Nel, was shot in the chest while walking in Suikerbekkie Avenue in Rosedale, at about 8.30 pm on Monday night.
She says an unknown male fired one shot at Nel before fleeing on foot.
Swart says the motive for the shooting is unknown at this stage.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have information on the shooter to come forward.
