EASTERN CAPE - 55 YEAR OLD UNCLE GETS 30 YEAR SENTENCE FOR RAPE OF NIECE

The Mount Frere Regional Court sentenced a 55-year-old Masibulele Kinase 30 years imprisonment for count one - 20 years imprisonment for Rape and another count two - 20 years imprisonment for Rape of which 10 years of  count two will run concurrently with sentence in count one.

The court heard that on 31 July 2017, the victim was left with her uncle (the accused) while the grandmother was away. The accused grabbed her and raped her. He raped her again on 08 August 2017 and threatened to kill her if she told anyone about him raping her.

The Cluster Commander of Mt Ayliff, has Brigadier Macala has commended   the Investigation offers of this case, Const Ntobeko Potolwana for job well done.
