Port Elizabeth police are investigating a case of murder, after the body of a woman was found in a car outside a Fairview complex on Saturday morning.Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says one of the residents noticed the VW Polo outside the complex in Restitution Road on the sidewalk at around 6 am and went to investigate.
She says the woman, 30-year old Sisanda Fani, showed no signs of life, and the ambulance services were called.
Janse van Rensburg says she was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.
She says Fani, who resided in the same complex, sustained a bullet wound to the head.
The motive for the attack is unknown.
No arrests have yet been made, and police are appealing to anyone who can assist in the investigation to urgently contact SAPS Walmer.
