EASTERN CAPE - 2 FATALITIES IN 2 SEPARATE ACCIDENTS ON THE N2

Dutywa Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide. It is alleged that a bakkie rolled along N2 road, Ngxakaxha Village, Dutywa on Sunday, 01 September 2019 at about 06h00. The driver of the bakkie believed to be 30 years old, was found alone inside the vehicle.

He has not yet been identified. He was wearing a blue jean trouser and a white t-shirt. Anyone who can identify him is kindly requested to contact Dutywa Police at 047 489 1333.

In a separate incident, Msobomvu Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide. It is alleged that a 55-year-old woman was hit by bakkie along N2 road near Bika Township, Butterworth.

The fatal accident happened on Saturday, 31 August 2019 at about 18:55. The 55-year-old woman passed away at the scene. The identity of the deceased will be released once her relatives are officially informed of her death.
