Police in Jeffrey's Bay have asked the public to assist them in identifying the body of a man found lying near a bridge in town.Spokesperson Sergeant Majola Nkohli says police were summoned to the MR4 railway bridge near Dirk Ellis Motors just after noon on Tuesday.
He says the body was totally decomposed.
The deceased is unknown and was wearing dark tracksuit pants, an old brownish military jacket with one black shoe.
