Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu says 33-year old Luyiso Johnston was sitting in the lounge of his house in Bethelsdorp, when there was loud knock on the door.When he opened the door, several shots were fired at him.
Naidu says he sustained multiple gunshot wounds and died in the kitchen.
The motive for the attack is not known and no arrests have yet been made.
