Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu says police also responded to a shooting in Kayser Street in Ext.21 in Bethelsdorp on Friday evening, and on their arrival, they found a 38-year old man receiving medical assistance.He sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
It is alleged that he was on his way to a nearby shop when he was stopped by three unknown men, and one of them pulled out a firearm and fired shots at the victim.
The motive is yet to be established, and police are investigating a case of attempted murder.
