On Monday evening, just after 6 pm, a 30-year-old man was inside an open garage at a house in Deverill Street in Helenvale when he saw a suspect in the street.Colonel Priscilla Naidu says shots were fired at the complainant who sustained a gunshot wound to the upper leg.
The Provincial Gang Investigation Unit is investigating a case of attempted murder.
