Port Elizabeth police have arrested six suspects following an armed robbery at a shop in Malabar which was caught on CCTV.Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, said the men, aged between 19 and 29, were arrested in Zwide in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Footage of the robbery shows several men entering the shop in Haworthia Drive on Wednesday and one man pulling out a gun and threatening the shopkeeper before his accomplices help themselves to cash and other goods.
No shots were fired and no one was injured during the incident.
Janse Van Rensburg said members of the Anti-Gang Unit recovered some of the stolen property during the arrests.
The suspects will appear in court soon.
