EASTERN CAPE - 54 YEAR OLD DRUG DEALER ARRESTED WITH OVER 1200 MANDRAX TABLETS

Striving to rid the communities we serve of the scourge of drugs and manifestations, Cluster Crime Combating Team (CCCT) members arrested a 54-year-old suspect for drug dealing and possession in NU3, Mdantsane today.

The members were busy with their patrols and interactions with the community in NU3 Mdantsane when they received a tip-off from the members of the community about a drug delivery that was on its way to a certain residence in the area.

Police searched the premises and confiscated 1272 full mandrax tablets, 8 half mandrax tablets and an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is expected to appear in the Mdantsane Magistrate’s Court soon on charges of drug dealing and possession.
