CORONAVIRUS UPDATE - SOUTH AFRICA - 20 APRIL 2020 - COVID-19 CONFIRMED CASES RISE UP TO 3300 AND DEATH TOLL NOW AT 58
“Today, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases is 3 300, the death toll is now 58 and the number of recoveries have increased to 1 055.” - Dr Zweli Mkhize.
There are four new confirmed COVID-19 related deaths in South Africa.
This brings the number of coronavirus related fatalities in the country to 58.
As of Monday night, there are 142 new cases with 3300 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
The Department of Health says 121 510 people have been tested for the virus.
