President Ramaphosa will address the nation this evening on economic and social relief measures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The speech will be broadcast on tv, radio and streamed live.
In a statement, the Presidency says during the course of Tuesday a date and time will be confirmed.

The special cabinet meeting last Wednesday received five report backs from clusters, including economic sectors, social protection and crime prevention.
Cabinet decided to consolidate the documents into one plan after further consultations with social partners including labour and business.
Public enterprises minister Pravin Gordhan is also expected to brief his cabinet colleagues about the future of SAA. He denied a request for a further R10 billion funding lifeline for the national carrier last week leaving its future in the balance.
