EASTERN CAPE - EC PREMIER FINALLY GIVES BREAKDOWN OF HOTSPOT AREAS IN NELSON MANDELA BAY AND OTHER DISTRICTS

The Premier of the Eastern Cape, Oscar Mabuyane has for the first time given an exact breakdown of Covid19 cases in the Province, right down to towns, villages and suburbs.

Health Minister, Dr Zweli Mkhize, has again urged South Africans to continue to stay home.
The minister’s message comes as seven more fatalities have been recorded, bringing the total number of coronavirus deaths in the country to 138 and the number of infections on 7 220.

Dr Mkize says as the winter season sets in, society will be confronted with the additional burden of influenza and other cases of pneumonia.

The following breakdown was shared by the Premier on Monday the 4th of May and the areas include both active cases and those who had recovered.
