The Eastern Cape health department on Monday morning released the updated breakdown, by district, of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the province.
Health MEC Sindiswa Gomba also updated the usual daily briefing to include the coronavirus related deaths in each district.

With 376 confirmed cases and seven deaths, Nelson Mandela Bay is the epicentre of the province's fight.
Buffalo City's cases have now risen to 165 and four deaths; with the largest contingent of infected persons coming from the city's prison in Westbank, where a large number of inmates tested positive.
Steadily climbing and now at 112 with two deaths, the Chris Hani district is one of the Eastern Cape's major hotspots.
O.R. Tambo disctrict, where a tiny Port St Johns village became the national Covid-19 talking point after widespread infections among attendees and staff at a funeral, is now at 72 cases with 2 deaths.
Alfred Nzo and Sarah Baartman districts both have 16 cases and no deaths while Amathole district has 10 cases with 2 deaths and Joe Gqabi has seven cases with no deaths.
